Said Ahmed is committed to customer service.
So much that when an armed robber entered his store in New Zealand and demanded cash, he continued packing up a sandwich for a customer.
BBC News reports that Ahmed, who owns Egyptian Kebab House in Christchurch, simply ignored the robber and calmly walked away to his kitchen, where he called police.
Canterbury Police shared surveillance footage footage of the colossally failed robbery:
"I'm not a hero," Ahmed told the broadcaster. "I am a businessman. I hadn't finished with my customer and my priority was to finish serving him."
'Took away the power'
The businessman, who is originally from Egypt, told The Guardian that even though he was scared, he remained cool and "took away the power" from the suspect who had a gun.
Ahmed can be even seen smiling in the footage while the robber stands there, dumbfounded.
His daughter told the newspaper that the video of her dad and the robber scared her, but that Ahmed's collected demeanour was typical.
"His only choice was to leave," Yasmin said.
