Bella Hadid Covers Glamour's September Issue And Gushes About Boyfriend The Weeknd

She is dating Abel Tesfaye.

Hey world, there's something Bella Hadid wants to make clear: she is not dating The Weeknd ... she's dating the guy behind the music, Abel Tesfaye.

Covering Glamour magazine's coveted September issue in a athletic-inspired Balenciaga puffer jacket, the 19-year-old supermodel gets real about her relationship with the 26-year-old Canadian chart topper, who she has been dating since May 2015, and notes that she keeps his musical character separate from her boyfriend.

"I'm dating Abel. I don't see him as The Weeknd," Bella said. "I'm proud of The Weeknd and the music he makes, but I really love Abel."

"It was a big night for him," the model said. "He has worked so hard, and he did so well that night. As a girlfriend I wanted to be there to support him. Seeing him so happy when he won a Grammy made me so happy."

Hadid, who has been seen not only on the runways for Fendi and Chanel (to name a few), but also in campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein, also addressed her relationship with sister Gigi saying they're "definitely a lot more similar than people think."

"We have the same voice, the same mannerisms. Sometimes we'll finish each other's sentences, or we'll be the only people laughing," Bella told Glamour. "We've always been close."

Sure, Bella has risen to modelling fame at a rapid speed, but she's not letting all the press and limelight get to her. At the end of the day all that matters is that she is herself.

"In five years I would love to be just really happy."

That sounds like a good goal to have, Bella.
