Drew Barrymore And Rashida Jones With ET... Our '80s Hearts Are Melting

"No way! Look what I just found!"

It’s not even Throwback Thursday, but we’re already reminiscing!

On Tuesday, Drew Barrymore shared an old snap of herself from her child star days. While that would have been sweet in itself, what made the photo even better was the fact that it featured legendary musician Quincy Jones, his famous daughters Rashida and Kidada, as well as one of Barrymore’s very first co-stars, E.T.

Our ‘80s hearts are melting!

Jones produced the “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” soundtrack in 1982, which is likely when this photo was taken.

According to the caption, Barrymore was going through her old storage unit when she happened upon the photo. The 41-year-old actress also discovered a few other childhood things and posted them to Instagram.

One of her discoveries was a pen pal letter she wrote in second grade, where she declared her love of acting and jazz. Too cute!

Other finds included old childhood photos of Barrymore working on set. Here she is in 1982, sitting behind the scenes of “Firestarter,” where she played Charlie McGee.

And here she is in an old magazine feature.

Considering that Barrymore is one of the most famous child stars in Hollywood, it’s no wonder she’s the Queen of Throwbacks.
