Alberta Police Dog Shows You Don't Need Pokeballs To Catch A Pikachu

This pup will be a Pokemon trainer in no time.

Here's a way to catch Pokemon — no Pokeballs necessary.

With the help of a two-year-old Belgian Malinois named Arson, an Alberta dog trainer decided to show that his canines can take on a Pikachu.

Alberta K9 is a Red Deer-based company that trains drug-detection dogs. In a video posted to YouTube last week, Arson expertly takes down the suspect (what this Pikachu did wrong, we don't know) and escorts the fugitive Pokemon back to a police car.

His handlers gave him a reward for the successful maneuver.

With skills like these, Arson should be a Pokemon trainer in no time.
