Tragically Hip Frontman Gord Downie Fights Back Tears At Last Concert

If your heart isn't broken enough already.

The Tragically Hip's last concert of their tour in Kingston, Ont. was overflowing with heart-wrenching moments between the band and their fans.

During Saturday's performance of "Grace, Too," an avalanche of emotions swept frontman Gord Downie during his set.

For concertgoers and those watching from home, thanks to the CBC's live broadcast, Downie's open weeping mirrored their own ecstatic joy and profound sadness.

The terminally ill lead singer was diagnosed with brain cancer in December. Some proceeds from the band's climatic tour will be donated towards cancer research at the Sunnybrook Foundation, the CBC News reports.
