Back to school means heading back to a proper sleep routine. While this might seem difficult for kids after a summer of unpredictable schedules, certified sleep consultant Joleen Dilk Salyn says it's actually pretty easy. The key is to give the kids a consistent bedtime routine.

"You want to have a very set routine and a consistent pattern so that the kids know we do A, B, then C and then we get into bed," she told CTV News. "You're going to have a lot less resistance at bedtime, and you're going to minimize any kind of tantrums."
