He says that's why he always brings up consular issues in discussions with his fellow world leaders. "It is important for me to demonstrate that Canada cares deeply about its citizens in difficulties abroad and we need to make sure they are getting proper consular access and the kind of support through rule of law that is expected," Trudeau said Monday.
