Nordstrom Celebrates Toronto Eaton Centre Opening With Charity Gala

And you can bet they did it in style.

Nordstrom has arrived in Toronto and brought in two international supermodels to celebrate.

Hilary Rhoda and Petra Nemcova were among the 2,000 guests in attendance at the Seattle-based retailer's in-store gala at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre on Wednesday, which raised $270,000 for local charity organizations including Covenant House Toronto and SickKids Foundation.

Rhoda, who is married to former Canadian hockey player, Sean Avery, donned a bright blue accordion gown with a plunging neckline, while Nemcova opted for a pale pink frock with ruffled details at the arms and waist.

This time around, however, the models didn't walk the runway. Instead, they sat front row at the tented fashion show in Dundas Square, which showcased fall looks available at Nordstrom.

Nordstrom's Toronto Eaton Centre store officially opens on Sept. 16, 2016. Its Yorkdale location will open Oct. 21, 2016.
