Montreal Haitian radio station firebombed

A Haitian community radio station in Montreal, CPAM 1410 AM, was slightly damaged by a firebomb early Sunday morning, police said.

There were no reported injuries.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. when a suspect broke the window in the front door and threw an incendiary device into the building.

The suspect fled the scene at Crémazie Boulevard East and 13th Avenue in the Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough.

Police are still investigating and no arrests have been made.

The station was back on-air Sunday.
