'Little Canada' Wins Big On List Of America's Weirdest Town Name

Top that, Ham Lake.

Little Canada beat Kiester’s, er, keister for the title of Minnesota’s “most oddly-named” town.

Real estate company Estately compiled their shortlist of the weirdest town names in each U.S. state in a post earlier this month.

“Who knows, it might just help home buyers find the right place to call home,” wrote blog post author Ryan Nickum.

It undoubtedly sparked a gentle debate among Minnesotans.

Buzz over Little Canada’s new not-nefarious-at-all title even made its way into a news segment on CBS 4 WCCO Minnesota on Friday.

Morning show host Kylie Bearse said the fact that Little Canada was picked over towns with names including Embarrass, Kiester, and Castle Danger “kind of blows my mind.”
