Ronan Farrow Shares Sweet Tribute To Late Brother, Thaddeus

"I never knew anyone stronger, or who overcame more."

Mia Farrow's son, Ronan, made a sweet tribute to his late brother, Thaddeus, on Sunday, following the tragic news that the 27-year-old died by suicide.

On Instagram, Ronan posted a collage of two throwback photos. In one image, Thaddeus, who had become a paraplegic as result of polio, has leg braces and is walking with crutches, and in the other, he is seen in a wheelchair.

“Rest in peace, brother. I never knew anyone stronger, or who overcame more,” Ronan wrote in his caption.

Thaddeus died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound last Wednesday, the Connecticut Office of Chief Medical Examiner confirmed to People magazine. He was found in his car and pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital.

Thaddeus and his brother Ronan are both sons of actress Mia Farrow, who is a mom of 14. Ronan, who is a journalist, is the only biological child of Farrow and her former partner Woody Allen. The couple split in 1992 and two years later, Farrow adopted Thaddeus on her own from Calcutta, India.

Following Thaddeus’ death, Farrow released a statement on Twitter.

Sadly, Thaddeus is not the only child Farrow has lost. In 2000, the “Rosemary’s Baby” star lost her 19-year-old daughter Tam to an apparent heart ailment, and in 2008, she lost her 35-year-old daughter Lark to an “undisclosed illness.”

Farrow is also a grandmother to 11 kids. Her youngest grandchild, Evangeline, was born earlier this month to her daughter Dylan.
