How To Unshrink Your Clothes With 3 Simple Ingredients

SO. SIMPLE.

We all have that new, expensive item of clothing we purchased and loved so much, we wore it nearly every single day for three weeks straight. But with that excessive wear comes the time where we NEED to wash it. We do that. And sometimes, we totally forget to read the label.

This leads to us accidentally putting our brand new, favourite shirt in the dryer when it really shouldn't have gone there. And it comes out looking five times smaller. Now, it's basically a shirt for a small child.

We're all sad.

Look, we know it's devastating but there is an easy way to unshrink that piece of clothing. And it only involves three simple things.

In the video above, Buzz60 gives us an easy hack on how to bring your favourite shirt back to life.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Baby shampoo
  • A bucket
  • Water

And these are the steps you'll want to follow:

1. Mix a 1/3 cup of baby shampoo in a bucket full of lukewarm water.

2. Throw in your shrunken piece of clothing and let it soak for 30 minutes.

Why? This will relax the fibres of your shrunken shirt.

3. Ring out the water, stretch the piece of clothing and lay it flat to dry.

BOOM! Your clothing is as good as new!
