Kim Kardashian Shared The Story About Her Stolen Ring Days Before Her Robbery

It strangely has a connection to Adidas.

West gave Kim the 20-carat, Lorraine Schwartz ring after closing a deal with Adidas to open Yeezy retail stores, Kardashian revealed in an interview last month with Andy Cohen.

Kim Kardashian West speaks at The Girls' Lounge dinner, giving visibility to women at Advertising Week 2016, at Pier 60 on Sept. 27, 2016 in New York City.

"I was sleeping and he woke me up in the middle of the night and said, 'Babe, babe, I got you something from Adidas.' And I said, 'I’ll get the shoes in the morning babe, I’m sleeping.' And then he put a box on my pillow, a Lorraine Schwartz box, and he goes, 'No, open your eyes,’ and I opened my eyes and it was a box, and I like, woke up, and I was like, ‘What is this?'” Kim told Cohen.

She continued, "[Kanye said,] 'Well, you know I just did that big Adidas deal, so I got you something from Adidas!' and he engraved Adidas on the band inside because he’s funny like that. And I was like, 'Do I have to give my other ring back?' and he was like, 'Can you do that?' and I was like 'Nooo! You can’t do that, I’m just kidding.' Thank you, Adidas!"

Kim's "upgraded" engagement ring.

The interview resurfaced after five thieves stole millions' worth of jewels, including the $4.5 million ring, during the heist which, according to E! News, left Kardashian "gagged and bound at her hands and feet, then handcuffed at gunpoint." Currently, the suspects are still at large.

According to TMZ, Kim agrees with Paris police and critics that her social media presence is what made her an easy target to the robbers responsible for the terrifying incident.

West, who previously didn't shy away from posting images of her personal wealth, is reportedly taking a month off work following the robbery, and will "pull back in a big way on social media," a source tells TMZ.

So far, Kim hasn't spoken out publicly about the incident, and filming of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" has been put on hiatus. Kim, Kanye and their children, North and Saint, were spotted publicly in New York City Thursday for the first time since the robbery. Kim and the kids are now back at home in L.A.
