Khloe Kardashian Says Kim Kardashian 'Not Doing That Well' After Robbery

The reality TV star has spoken out for the first time since her sister was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

Khloe Kardashian has spoken out publicly for the first time following sister Kim Kardashian West's robbery in Paris last week.

On Tuesday's "Ellen DeGeneres Show," the 32-year-old reality TV star told the talk show host that her older sister is "not doing that well" following the "emotional terror" she experienced from being robbed at gunpoint.

"I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her," Kardashian said to DeGeneres. "But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her."

The robbery, which occurred at Kardashian West's private Paris apartment, resulted in an estimated $10 million worth of jewelry stolen, including the "upgraded" engagement ring Kim received from husband, Kanye West. Kim received criticism following the robbery for oversharing her wealth on social media, particularly said 20-carat, Lorraine Schwartz ring, as many believed it made her vulnerable to being robbed.

"I think it’s just a wake-up call to make a lot of life adjustments. This is a really serious matter for Kim," Khloe explained to Ellen. "It’s a wake-up call for all of us. But definitely just to make sure our sister is OK."

She continued, "We have to make sure we're protected as well as possible. We're a family and we'll do this together, and I think it's important to make those adjustments and pull back a little bit."

Since the robbery, the Kardashian-Jenner clan has been fairly quiet on social media. Matriarch Kris Jenner broke her silence, posting a passage on Instagram Monday.

"Every morning is a reminder of how blessed we are," the passage read. "Today I am grateful for my family, who I love more than words can explain. Count your blessings, be grateful always, and cherish every moment you spend with your loved ones."

Khloe, along with half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner have also cancelled their upcoming book signings due to "safety reasons."

So far, Kim hasn't spoken publicly since the incident, and is said to be taking a month off work. Filming of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" has also been halted, temporarily.
