Cris Marshall Charged With Making Bestiality, Child Porn

RED DEER, Alta. – Police have charged a man in central Alberta with making child pornography and bestiality.

Internet child exploitation officers with the province's ALERT agency says it started an investigation after child sexual exploitation material was uploaded through a social media account.

The man was arrested last week and officers who searched his home in the hamlet of Nevis, east of Red Deer, seized several electronic devices.

Police say they found a significant amount of child sexual exploitation material and evidence of offences involving a pet dog.

The dog was taken to a local veterinarian.

Cris Marshall, who is 25, also faces charges of animal cruelty, careless storage of firearms, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession, accessing and making available child exploitation materials.
