Trump's Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star Vandalized

Police are investigating.

Police in Los Angeles are investigating after Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was vandalized.

Footage of a man in construction gear hitting the star with a pickaxe emerged on Wednesday.

You can watch the clip in the video above.

The man identified himself as Jamie Otis, according to Deadline. He told the outlet he initially planned to remove the star and auction it off to raise money for the women who have accused the Republican nominee of sexual assault.

So far, 11 women have accused Trump of groping and other unwanted sexual behaviour. He has denied all the allegations and said he "so looks forward" to suing them once the election is over.

Trump received the star in 2007 for his work on NBC reality TV show "The Apprentice," according to the Associated Press.

Star previously vandalized

This isn't the first time Trump's star has been targeted. In July, a street artist called Plastic Jesus built a small wall around it to protest the nominee's policies.

“Personally, I’ve got nothing against Donald Trump,” the artist told The Huffington Post at the time.

“I have everything against his policies and the culture he’s trying to create in America.”
