EDMONTON — Alberta Premier Rachel Notley says Alberta will continue to work with the United States and will wait to see if new economic opportunities arise from Donald Trump's election victory.
She also says Hillary Clinton's presidential run was inspiring, but her failed bid reflects that much remains to be done for women in public life.
Notley says work must continue to promote and celebrate the role of women not only in politics, but in other fields as well.
She says progress is never in a straight line, but goes two steps forward and one step back.
The Alberta premier also says the province will continue to push for a pipeline to coastal ports for its oil.
