Toddler Waking Up To Trump Win: 'But He WON'T Be Nice!'

We all feel for this three-year-old.

Like many parents, Katrina Lewis had to break the news to her daughter on Wednesday morning that Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election. Thankfully, she decided to capture it on video and share it to Facebook.

"Selene, my 3 year old, has been watching both candidates on TV with us," the Virginia mom-of-two wrote in the caption. "She learned yesterday in preschool about voting and got to elect a duck in a mock election at preschool. She is well aware of who Trump, Hillary, and Obama are. This was her reaction this morning."

"I gotta tell you something," Lewis said gently to Selene, as the little girl woke up.

"You gotta tell me something?" the unsuspecting girl responded with a smile. (Poor kid, she probably thought she was getting a cupcake... or a puppy.)

When Lewis informed her that Trump, and not Hillary Clinton, will be president of the United States, Selene's face instantly fell and she reacted like so many Democrats -- with utter disbelief.

"Nooooo. Donald Trump is just not a good guy," said the tot. "He says mean things. I choose Hillary Clinton."

Her mom tried to find a silver lining with: "We can hope that he will be nice."

"But he WON'T be nice," Selene retorted with a firm kick of the bed.

Sigh. We can relate, kid. We can relate.
