Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, had women in mind during her royal visit to the United Arab Emirates last week — right down to the her all-female security detail:
Clarence House shared a photo of the five guards walking alongside the duchess on Instagram, dressed in traditional abayas and hijabs.
The ladies were handpicked from the UAE's presidential guard, which employs more than 50 women, according to Emirates Woman.
From left to right they are: Shaima al Kaabi, Basima al Kaabi, Hannan al Hatawi (hidden behind the duchess), Nisreen al Hamawi, and Salama al Remeithi.
Not only are they skilled martial artists, but Clarence House also shared that three of the guards — al Kaabi, al Hatawi and al Hamawi — climbed Mount Everest earlier this year.
The photo was praised by plenty on social media, with comments reading: "Goals," "Rockstars" and "That's fierce."
While on their tour, the duchess and Prince Charles sought to promote religious tolerance, support of women in leadership, and opportunities for youth.
