The Duchess of Cambridge is once again appearing to take style inspiration from her late mother-in-law.
For the British Remembrance Day service held in London over the weekend, Kate Middleton wore an all-black ensemble while joining Prince William to pay their respects to those who have suffered or lost their lives at war.
While it is custom to wear a black ensemble and hat on Remembrance Sunday, fans of the royals were quick to compare Catherine to Princess Diana.
With the red poppy emblem of remembrance on her black Diane von Furstenberg 'Lio' coat, the 34-year-old mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte drew major comparison to William's mother Diana, who stood in the same spot above Whitehall’s Cenotaph, the main war memorial in central London back in 1991.
In one photograph taken Sunday, Kate stares upwards, similar to that of Diana's gaze.
A stunning comparison, indeed.
