Boil water advisory issued for Saint-Hubert on Montreal's South Shore

The city of Longueuil has issued a boil water notice for the borough of Saint-Hubert.

The measure is necessary after lab results tested positive for Coliform bacteria in a sample taken from the water system.

The city recommends residents bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before consuming it until at least Thursday.

Tap water does not need to be boiled if it's being used to wash dishes or clothes and for showers and baths.
