Madonna Son: Rocco Ritchie Arrested Back In September For Drug Possession

Rocco was reported by his neighbours in London, U.K.

Madonna’s eldest son, Rocco, was arrested for possession of marijuana in London, U.K. According to TMZ, the 16-year-old was arrested on Sept. 28 after neighbours reported his suspected drug use to the police.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said, “He was dealt with by way of Triage, which uses multiple strands to engage and educate young people in order to prevent re-offending.”

After reports of Rocco’s arrest surfaced last week, Madonna released a statement to The Associated Press saying: “I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

Rocco is the son of 58-year-old pop star and Guy Ritchie. The teen is currently living in London with his father following his parents’ lengthy custody dispute over where he should reside.
