LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — Deven Sideroff forced overtime, then scored the winner with his second goal of the night as the Kamloops Blazers slipped past the Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-2 on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.
Travis Walton put Kamloops on the board early in the third before Sideroff tied the game at 15:08. Sideroff also potted the winner 3:07 into the extra period for the Blazers (20-12-2), who are on a 6-0-1 streak.
Brett Davis and Egor Babenko gave Lethbridge (18-11-5) a 2-0 lead after 40 minutes. Despite the loss, the Hurricanes have earned at least one point in 13 straight games (11-0-2)
Dylan Ferguson made 25 saves for the win as Stuart Skinner stopped 26-of-29 shots in a losing cause.

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Cole Johnson had a goal and an assist and Travis Child made 21 saves as Swift Current beat Kootenay to snap a three-game skid.
Conner Chaulk, Ryan Graham, Aleksi Heponiemi and Tyler Steenbergen also scored for the Broncos (16-10-7).
Vince Loschiavo and Matt Alfaro responded for the Ice (6-20-8), who have dropped four in a row. Payton Lee stopped 38-of-43 shots in defeat.

MOOSE JAW, Alta. — Jayden Halbgewachs scored once and set up two more as the Warriors toppled Prince Albert.
Noah Gregor, Tanner Jeannot and Josh Brook also scored for Moose Jaw (19-7-5), which got a 29-save outing from Zach Sawchenko.
Austin Glover spoiled Sawchenko's shutout bid at 17:37 of the third as Ian Scott turned away 42-of-46 shots for the Raiders (7-24-2).

SASKATOON — David Koch's second goal of the game came in overtime as Edmonton came back to beat the Blades.
Anatolii Elizarov sparked the comeback for the Oil Kings (15-15-3) as Patrick Dea made 15 saves for the win.
Josh Paterson and Chase Wouters built up a 2-0 lead for Saskatoon (13-18-3) midway through the first. Logan Flodell kicked out 43-of-46 shots in defeat.

VICTORIA — Cody Glass scored once and assisted on two others as Portland squeaked past the Royals.
Conor MacEachern, Skyler McKenzie and Ilijah Colina also scored for the Winterhawks (19-14-1). Michael Bullion made 32 saves for the victory.
Ryan Peckford, Matthew Phillips and Dante Hannoun found the back of the net for Victoria (17-15-3) while Griffen Outhouse stopped 23 shots in defeat.
