Body Positive Men And Women Who Taught Us To Love Ourselves In 2016

It was the year we learned to celebrating all the things we love about our body.

It was the year we learned "thick thighs save lives."

We celebrated our bodies, we embraced the way we look, and we sure as hell didn't let the body shamers get in our way. Ariel Winter led that charge. And Zach Miko reminded us to know our value.

Jessamyn Stanley taught us to respect ourselves. And Miss Iceland Arna Ýr Jónsdóttir did just that when she dropped out of the Miss Grand International after being told to lose weight.

In the words of Tess Holliday, "#EffYourBeautyStandards."
