Justin Timberlake and Christopher Walken are making our teenage dreams a reality ... sort of.
During Super Bowl 51, the 36-year-old singer joined the legendary 73-year-old actor to take it all the way back to the year 2000 by dramatically reading the lyrics to "Bye, Bye, Bye" for a Bai Antioxidant Infusions commercial.
"I don’t want to make it tough, I just want to tell you that I’ve had enough," Walken whispers, reciting 'NSYNC famous lyrics as he sits in a fancy living room, wearing a fancy smoker suit. "It might sound crazy, but it ain’t no lie, baby, bye, bye, bye."
The camera turns to JT.
He gives Walken a pensive look (which is understand because we're assuming he's never heard a version of his hit like this before).
And without saying a word, Justin seems to approve of Walken's rendition of #BaiBaiBai.
It should be noted that Timberlake is an investor in Bai Brands and serves as as the company’s "Chief Flavor Officer," so the decision to fit "Bye, Bye, Bye" into this commercial is completely genius.
It's official: the Super Bowl has blessed us with our new favourite boy band.
