Chilliwack Snowboarder Rips Through Street To Show Off Huge Snowfall

So much fresh pow.

A thick layer of freshly fallen snow covered Chilliwack, B.C. over the weekend — much to the delight of one adventurous snowboarder.

Keaton Haraga posted a video of himself gliding through city streets, passing buried fire hydrants and utility poles on his snowboard with the help of a rope tow.

More snow has fallen since Haraga posted the video on Saturday. Chilliwack recorded nearly 80 centimetres of the white stuff on the weekend, leading to some traffic chaos and closures of schools and libraries.

It’s all expected to be washed away later this week when the weather system swings to above-zero temperatures with a multi-day forecast for rain.
