Oscars 2017: Hollywood Had The Best Reactions To The Best Picture Fiasco

“Hollywood loves a dramatic ending!”

We’re still not over last night’s surprise twist at the 2017 Oscars.

After Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway read the wrong winner for Best Picture, it was revealed that “Moonlight” had actually beat “La La Land" for the prestigious award. Naturally, the Internet collectively freaked out in response, but no reactions were better than the ones that came from the Hollywood stars themselves.

While M. Night Shyamalan poked fun at himself, saying he actually wrote the surprise ending to the Oscars…

Others were still processing the unbelievable series of events.

Many wished the surprise twist had happened on U.S. election day.

If only the election went like tonight's best picture announcement. Just kidding, we read it wrong. The winner is @HillaryClinton 🎉 #Oscars

Some even cheekily asked for a recheck on other awards, specifically the Best Actor category.

While many were excited to hear that “Moonlight” had won, others also applauded how the “La La Land” team handled the awkward scenario.

And, of course, many made Steve Harvey jokes. After all, the Miss Universe host famously announced the wrong winner at the 2015 pageant.

Even Harvey poked fun at himself.

But the best reactions were the ones that said what we were all feeling: So. Many. Emotions.

In the words of “Fuller House” star Lori Loughlin: “Hollywood loves a dramatic ending!”

So true, Lori. So true.
