Kim Kardashian 'Mentally Prepared' For Death During Paris Robbery

"They’re just totally going to shoot me in the head."

After months of staying (mostly) out of the spotlight, Kim Kardashian finally opened up about the traumatic Paris robbery in the latest episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

Last October, Kardashian was involved in a robbery in which men broke into her Paris apartment, held her at gunpoint and left her gagged and robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewellery.

The terrifying experience pushed Kardashian to take a three-month break from social media, and she officially made her return in January with a series of family photos posted on Instagram.

During the anticipated episode of “KUWTK,” which aired on Sunday, Kardashian sat down with her two sisters, Khloe and Kourtney, and opened up to them about her experience.

In her first time speaking about the event in public, Kardashian described the scene and revealed she thought she was going to be raped and killed. “OK this is the moment they’re going to rape me and I fully mentally prepared myself,” she said as she described one of the men pulling her towards him while she wore nothing underneath her bathrobe.

Instead, Kardashian said the man duct taped her legs together and pointed a gun to her head. It was in that moment that she thought she was going to be killed. "They had the gun up to me, I knew that was the moment they were totally going to shoot me in the head," she said.

Before the premiere of the episode, Kardashian took to her social media accounts to post a string of messages about the impact the robbery had on her life.

"Tonight’s episode is going to be very tough for me. However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted," she wrote on her Instagram next to a photo of her "last family photo taken in Paris.” She added, "I have always shared so much & I’m not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life changing experiences for me."

She also wrote about her experience on Twitter, saying, "I would never wish this experience upon anyone, but have learned some valuable lessons and feel so blessed to be safe home with my babies and husband."

After the episode, she continued writing about her experience on Twitter. “I took a tragic horrific experience and did not let it diminish me, rather grew and evolved and allowed the experience to teach me.”

Finally she finished by tweeting that since the incident took place, she's become a "better" person.
