While rumours swirl that Prince Harry is preparing to move lady love Meghan Markle into his new Kensington Palace apartment, sources close to the couple say the 32-year-old prince has actually been shacking up with the "Suits" star and her two pups at her Toronto home.
"Harry wants everyone to believe Meghan is moving to London to take attention away from the fact he moved to Toronto months ago," a source close to the couple tells The Huffington Post Canada. "It's much easier for them to live the low-key lifestyle they like in Canada than it is in England where they're constantly followed by the paps."
“They’re just like any other young couple in love — until you realize they’ve got armed bodyguards close by,” a neighbour admits.
And according to acquaintances, Markle's BFF, stylist Jessica Mulroney, daughter-in-law of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, was recently seen coming in and out of Markle's home, with furniture in tow.
"It looked like she was in the middle of redecorating Meghan's home," a source says. "I mean, she's living with a prince now, so her home should reflect that, right?"
When the couple first began dating, Harry was able to slip in and out of Markle's home without ever being recognized. "He really loved that," the source says, adding, "It was actually his idea to come to Toronto. Meghan was ready to quit 'Suits' and move to London, but it looks like that won't happen right away."
Fans of the couple should take this news as a sign of an upcoming royal engagement. Prince William lived with Kate Middleton at a secluded farmhouse for months before they got engaged.
Though the pair aren't moving into the palace anytime soon, renovations are still being done with the couple in mind. "The Queen just wants Harry to be happy," an insider says. "But she's still old fashioned and wants them to be married before they move into the palace officially."
