The Rest Of The World Needs A Backup Plan If Trump Wins

Building progress and trust, as the U.S. did, takes a long time to accomplish far more than constructing a building. But Trump will help destroy such progress if he is elected as the president of the United States. All the respect and admiration the world used to have towards this great country will vanish into thin air.

As Donald Trump is fiercely climbing the ladder to attain power, as he is running fast in the race to the finishing line, I am surprised to see that no nation on earth coming up with a plan B for all those who are loathed and despised by Trump: Mexican immigrants, blacks, the disabled and Muslims.

I was hoping to see a plan in place to take in these people, so unwanted by Trump, who will face uncertainty in the U.S. if Trump wins the presidency.

Before Mr. Trump builds a wall, bans them from entering the country or simply deports them, the world ought to consider a contingency plan -- even if it involves helping them escape to a bubble on Mars to escape his volatile hate.

Donald Trump should know well that building takes effort and tireless dedication, but any loser can demolish and destroy things.

As a Muslim, I would be deeply frightened if I were living in the U.S. I would be frightened to death if Mr. Trump were to take over as the commander-in-chief.

As I wrote to theNational Post, it is mind boggling to see citizens of the most civilized nation on earth displaying a welcoming attitude to an arrogant, belligerent politician who openly dehumanizes and vilifies other people who look different.

One reason is that having an apparent racist and xenophobe like Trump as the U.S president will certainly turn the world away from the land of opportunity that is America. Indeed, some foreign diplomats have already voiced alarm over inflammatory and insulting public statements made by Trump.

As a businessman who has helped to construct mansions and high-rise buildings, Donald Trump should know well that building takes effort and tireless dedication, but any loser can demolish and destroy things.

Building progress and trust, as the U.S. did, takes a long time to accomplish far more than constructing a building. But Trump will help destroy such progress if he is elected as the president of the United States. All the respect and admiration the world used to have towards this great country will vanish into thin air. He will take away the glory it has built.

If I had the chance to speak to his die-hard supporters, those who believe that Trump will somehow "Make America Great Again," I would ask them what what they were thinking.

To see an angry man in power is a scary thing, not only for minorities and the weak, but for the entire globe. A leader needs to be a man of integrity who can control his anger and portray a high level of conduct in order to bring people together.
