Daryl Devonish

Strength and Conditioning Coach

In the personal training industry for more than 20 years, Daryl Devonish began teaching middle school after graduating with his kinesiology and B.Ed. degrees from University of Toronto. Daryl later taught kinesiology courses to first and fourth year students at U of T, and has been doing so since 2004.

Daryl also has certificates in CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and RTS (Resistance Training Specialist), levels I and II. He is also a speed, agility and nutritional-certified specialist with the International Youth Coaching Association (IYCA).

Daryl has owned and operated his own personal training business for more than 10 years. He is also a Co-Founder of the National Canadian charity, It aims to empower families with the knowledge and skills to live a healthy and active lifestyle. The program engages kids through an online, interactive medium with goal setting, accountability and fun incentives.

Tommy Europe, host of The Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp and Bulging Brides , classifies Daryl as one of Toronto's top trainers. Featured on the W Network ( The Right Fit) and TSN ( Three Guys and a Goal), he has also filmed a documentary with the CBC titled, Run, Run Revolution and is working with Subway’s Restaurant Commit to Fit campaign with celebrity angler Dave Mercer, from the hit show Facts of Fishing.
