Leader, Lost Canadians
Don Chapman is a former pilot for United Airlines and the head of a charitable foundation. He was featured as a finalist in the Globe and Mail's "Nation Builder of the Year" award both in 2007 and 2008. He's on the board of directors for VeriCorder Technology, Inc., and he's been a guest speaker at several universities and organizations throughout Canada and the United States.
We as Canadians readily admit that everyone should be equal, but when Canadians learn about our country's ongoing discrimination in citizenship law, they seem content sitting in silence.
It matters not that a person was born in Canada, or grew up, married, had a family, voted and paid taxes. According to the Harper government, such a person might still not really be Canadian.
