Dr. Hany Moselhi

Dr Moselhi is a physician and Roche Canada’s VP, Medical Affairs. He oversees the company’s overall medical and clinical strategy.

As Vice President, Medical Affairs Canada at Roche Canada, Dr. Hany Moselhi is directly responsible for overall medical and clinical strategy, evidence generation, pharmacovigilance, and overall quality. Dr. Moselhi has more than 16 years of extensive and varied experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Moselhi is also a physician with a medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Prior to joining Roche Canada, Dr. Moselhi was Head, Medical Affairs, EEMEA region (Eastern Europe, Turkey, Russia, Middle East and Africa) at Roche in Basel, Switzerland. Dr. Moselhi was also the Head, Medical Affairs, CEMAI region (Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and India). As a Regional Head, Dr. Moselhi helped to reshape the Medical Affairs organization, redefine Medical and Commercial accountabilities, and ensure excellence in phase IIIB and IV clinical programs. Prior to his position as Head of Medical Affairs for the CEMAI region, Dr. Moselhi was the Business Unit Head, Oncology and Medical Director in Saudi Arabia at Roche. Dr. Moselhi served as a Medical Manager at Aventis/Sanofi-Aventis KSA and Gulf prior to working at Roche. Through his affiliate experience, Dr. Moselhi has gained a depth of experience in building Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance and Good Clinical Practice compliance infrastructures.
