Michael leads the TELUS Health consulting practice that is responsible for enabling customers to successfully integrate powerful new information tools into clinical practice. With a team of expert consultants, Michael works closely with TELUS Health clients to improve their operational performance and the quality of care they provide to their patients. Michael was a founding partner of Courtyard Group, an international healthcare consultancy that TELUS Health acquired in 2011. Michael advised governments, hospitals and IT companies on strategy, health policy and technology driven clinical transformation. From 1990 to 2000, he served as CIO and Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Planning at St. Michael’s Hospital then as Executive Vice President and COO at the University Health Network.
