Jean-François has previously occupied several leadership roles within the organization, for example as National Coordinator from 1988 to 2001, as a member of RESULTS Canada's Board of Directors, and until recently as Chair of RESULTS Educational Fund. Jean-François was previously Secretary General for Canada’s Public Service Commission. He left the public service having occupied a number of senior roles throughout his career, both with the Public Service Commission and as a Senior Negotiator at the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development. Jean-François holds a Diplôme from Institut Études Politiques de Paris, a Masters in Public Administration (Université Laval) and a graduate diploma in Business Administration (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris).
