Jon Rumley

Jon Rumley is the senior front page editor at HuffPost Canada. He manages the front page, edits articles and writes original stories about Canadian news, politics and business. Before joining HuffPost in 2019, Jon worked as a news editor with Yahoo Canada. While with Yahoo, he covered the 2016 U.S. presidential election and the 2018 Ontario election. Jon previously worked for CBC News, CBC Sports and CBC Toronto as a senior writer, reporter and editor, where he reported on the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2015 Canadian federal election. He was an editor for the Toronto Star while with Pagemasters North America at The Canadian Press. Jon also worked for Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment as an associate producer, producing videos for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC. Jon is a graduate of Humber College's journalism program and Western University.
