Josey Kitson

Executive director of World Animal Protection

Josey Kitson has dedicated her career to moving the world to protect animals.  After obtaining a BaH from Queen’s University (Kingston) she continued her education at Humber College (Toronto) were she studied International Development.

Josey has been with World Animal Protection for 12 years. She started as an intern, continued as the organization’s Project Manager and then in 2011 she was promoted to Executive Director. Her responsibilities include overseeing a staff of 17, assisting with fundraising initiatives, acting as the organization’s spokesperson and contributing to global animal welfare campaigns.

Josey lives in Toronto with her three dogs Olive, Oscar and Pepper and her horse Lacey.
