TV Host, Executive Producer

Kristina Matisic is the CEO and a founding partner of Worldwide Bag Media Inc., a leader in lifestyle and reality entertainment television. She is one of the creators, hosts and executive producers of the hit series Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag, Anna and Kristina’s Beauty Call, and The Shopping Bags.

In addition to growing the A&K programming arm, Kristina also serves as executive producer on all other WBM shows, including health program Buyologic for OWN Canada, and the adventure food show, Get Stuffed for OLN.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and a Masters in Journalism from the University of Southern California, Kristina spent six years at Global TV’s Vancouver station, first as an overnight news anchor and then as the news anchor and producer of the 11:30 p.m. newscast.

While at Global, Anna and Kristina hatched The Shopping Bags concept, and have been creating entertaining and award-winning lifestyle content ever since. Their website relaunched in November 2012 and continues to draw tens of thousands of unique visits every month.

Recently I've seen a few young women wearing tights as bottoms out in the world. I'm talking about actual tights. As in pantyhose. As in, pulled tight over the buttocks and somewhat transparent. As in, I've seen things I cannot un-see.

I'm No Honey Boo Boo

If you've watched one of our shows or met me in person, you know I am not one of those characters. In fact, I'm amazed they let me on TV at all. In real life, I'm usually the quiet one in the corner. I prefer listening to speaking, and the only rooms I own are the ones in my house.

The Dilemmas Of An ACOD (Adult Child Of Divorce)

Lots of adults have divorced parents. But far fewer are adults when their parents get a divorce. For years, I thought my parents had if not a perfect marriage, a pretty darn good one. One that was actually going to last and it did, for almost 40 years. But about four years ago, the bottom fell out. They were 65 and I was 39 and I was totally blindsided.
