I may not be at my preferred weight, and some days I may feel stressed and anxious, but my family is there for me, and I will be there for them: for my loving husband, my children and someday, their children. Quitting has increased my chances of being around for many more Mother's Days to come.
Proud Mother and Former Smoker
Laura D’Esterre-Musgrave lives in St. Catharines, ON and is a proud mother of twins and two step-daughters. A majority of her life she smoked, even though she knew the health consequences. In 2016, she quit smoking for good and her family is supporting her along her journey from big hugs to words of encouragement. Laura knows it’s hard to quit and wants to share her story to provide hope to other Canadians.
