Born and raised in Bombay, India, Lindsay Pereira has been a journalist, columnist, editor and digital strategist for a number of global media and publishing houses.
He has been a journalist and feature writer for publishers like GQ, Rediff.com, The Indian Express and Mint Lounge, spent years as a news reporter, manned a features desk in New York, edited newspapers and websites, and published a personal travel site (itchhiker.com).
He was co-editor, with the late Indian poet and writer Eunice de Souza, of a book called Women's Voices: Selections from Nineteenth and Early Twentieth Century Indian Writing in English which was born out of research for his doctoral thesis on gender attitudes implicit in nineteenth-century Indian fiction in English.
He lives in Toronto, Ontario.
