Lisa Tsakos

Lisa Tsakos, nationally-recognized nutritionist and educator specializing in weight management and corporate nutrition programs, is excited about the new direction her career is taking.

After co-authoring Unjunk Your Junk Food, Healthy Alternatives to Conventional Snack Foods with her partners at, her current mission is twofold: sharing how anyone can eat an all-natural, anti-inflammatory diet that’s free of artificial anything, all while shopping at regular supermarkets; and helping consumers identify potentially-dangerous ingredients hidden in food.

Lisa has taught nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and at Centennial College, but most of her time over the past 15 years was dedicated to her Nu-Vitality Healthy Weight Program™. Offered at the Toronto Police Service, the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Telus Mobility, the University Health Network and others, the Program has helped employees at organizations across Canada lose thousands of pounds.

Lisa has been featured on the Discovery Channel, Wylde on Health, numerous radio programs and is a regular contributor to Her articles have appeared in various magazines and newspapers around the world.
