Louise Johnson is a Toronto-based writer and visual storyteller. She's an old soul who collects typewriters, sends snail mail, and weaves words with nomadic notions and nostalgic nods.

With an undergraduate degree from The Ivey Business School and a master's degree from Harvard University, Louise studied and worked in Hong Kong, Switzerland, New York, and Boston before moving to Toronto.

Her work has appeared in The Toronto Star, Darling Magazine, Hayo Magazine, The Boston Day Book, and more.

Beachfront Glamping In Mexico: The Alternative Spring Break

Instead of trying to find a patch of sand on a loud, crowded beach or witnessing a wet T-shirt contest by the pool, my boyfriend Geoff and I were able to fully immerse in the natural habitat of our surroundings. We ate fresh food from the on-site garden, watched as the sun rose during daily morning yoga, released baby turtles out to sea, and walked for hours on a stunning stretch of secluded beach.

Skating Through A Winter Wonderland At Arrowhead Provincial Park

Arrowhead Provincial Park in Huntsville, Ontario opened their ice-skating trail in 2012 and it has since become one of the province's most popular winter activities. This year it was voted amongst the Top 50 Canadian Winter Experiences and named one of the 19 Stunning Natural Ice Skating Rinks Around the World.
