One moment, I was in Spain, strolling the Passeig de Gracia, eating tapas and sipping red wine. The next, I was singing for Justin Bieber. Perhaps it was jet lag. Perhaps it was the parade of superheroes that casually strolled by me as I donned my Marie Antoinette wig. Either way, it was the most surreal evening of my life.
Opera singer, musician, and educator
Meghan Lindsay is a Canadian opera singer. In spring 2016, she performed the role of Giunia in the Canadian premiere of Lucio Silla with Opera Atelier. She has performed and recorded with Grammy-nominated early music company Ars Lyrica, has sung at the Royal Palace of Versailles, the Glimmerglass Festival, Het Concertgebouw, and across Canada. Next year will feature an album release and her debut at the Lincoln Center in New York. Meghan is an advocate for music education and community-involved arts.
