There are simply not enough hours in the day for parents of children with developmental challenges to manage the complicated care needs of their sons and daughters. There are a number of ways in which "the system" can work well to support better outcomes for families dealing with developmental challenges.
Mitchell Parker, Ph.D. has been the clinical director/principal of Zareinu Educational Centre for the past six years. Dr. Parker received his doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has spent his career working with the families of children with learning and developmental challenges in Buffalo, Detroit and Toronto. He has had professional appointments in hospitals, private schools, integrated summer camps and universities.
