Myriam Denis holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Université de Sherbrooke. She attended law school at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she gained a good understanding of the American legal system and served as a law clerk in the fields of criminal justice, immigration and refugees law, and environmental law and policy.
Myriam was deputy press secretary, as well as political advisor, for several ministers in Québec and Ontario, advising on a wide range of issues, including climate change, sustainable development and food exports.
In her free time, Myriam enjoys hiking, mountaineering, travelling and vegetarian cooking. She lives in Toronto, where she is training to hike Mount Everest base camp.
