For decades, new development in this city has been isolated to busy main streets and transit corridors and while these are logical areas for growth, it hasn't created a large enough land supply to meet the demand for housing while also driving the price of land to astronomical levels.
Nic Paolella is a development manager at Marcon. As part of the second generation of his family’s real estate development firm, he is helping build on the success of the company’s 30 years and 8,600 homes. Nic is passionate about urban planning and design and aims to create better, more livable communities.
With a four-year term, municipal officials will have more time to accomplish long-term goals and offer solid political leadership during the approval and construction of major infrastructure projects such as rapid transit lines.

Marcon will be making a substantial donation to North Shore Rescue in a new program which pairs condo buyers with charitable giving. A portion of every home sold in Marcon's latest project in Lynn Valley called Mill House will go towards a larger corporate donation to the Tim Jones Legacy Fund.
