National President of the Kidney Foundation of Canada

Paul Kidston is the National President of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. He is also personally impacted by a genetic kidney disorder, polycystic kidney disease (PKD), which runs in his family, although he does not have it. His father and brother both passed away due to complications of the disease and his sister recently received a kidney transplant.
Paul is also a business development and community leader across Canada. His business background includes senior leadership positions in the Canadian Telecommunications industry. He is currently the President and CEO of P. Kidston Enterprises Limited, a holding company designed to foster start-up business opportunities focused on business development services. He has an extensive background in volunteer boards. These include the Better Business Bureau, The Canadian Institute of Management, The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia (government appointed), Feed Nova Scotia, and the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Fighting Kidney Disease On Two Fronts

I watched my father, brother and sister deal with failing health and the grueling treatments of kidney disease. I'm the only one of my father's children without kidney disease. I see the ramifications of kidney failure on a daily basis through my volunteer involvement with The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
