He brings more than a decade of experience at the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB), where he worked in progressively senior leadership roles in government relations, communications and partnerships. Satinder has also served as a senior advisor in both the BC and Ontario Governments. Satinder received his MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, MA from the University of Waterloo and BA (Hon.) from the University of Toronto.
It is time for the federal government to slow down the runaway train of plain packaging legislation until all the benefits and impacts have been identified.
It seems (Health Canada's) 'consultation' is nothing more than a rubber stamp for public measures to protect us from ourselves.

Neighbourhood convenience retailers are happy to be there to deliver the products that Canadians want, when and how they want them. That is to say, convenient, fast, on-demand. That's not always easy at the best of times, but in the past it's been made significantly harder by Canada's tax system. You see, while convenience retailers are working hard to make your shopping experience simple and straightforward, the tax environment they face is anything but.
