Zi-Ann Lum is an Ottawa-based federal politics reporter with HuffPost Canada. She is a member of the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery as well as the Canadian Association of Journalists. She reports on issues related to inequality, climate and environment, Indigenous rights, and national security. Her investigative features have been nominated for Canadian Association of Journalists awards. In between stories, she helps produce “Follow-Up with Althia Raj,” a HuffPost Canada politics podcast. Before arriving on Parliament Hill, she worked as a reporter and front page editor in Vancouver and Toronto. Zi-Ann is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.
