Best assignment ever.

It's not every day you are tasked at work with compiling a list of your favourite daddy YouTube videos. This might have been the most fun assignment I have had but it wasn't without difficulty.

Try watching these without shedding at least one tear.

Good luck.

You don't have to be a fan of the Beatles to appreciate the cuteness and the talent in this video.

Some dads are totally OK with totally letting loose, in public.

And being the sole provider of entertainment for their children. Anything to get a laugh.

You have to love a dad who is willing to put himself out there to make his little girl happy, even when she's not longer little.

This daddy is a professional singer, whose little boy stole the show.

I admit to having a few similar videos, of my little girl rocking out to her daddy serenading her, so this one has a special place in my heart.

Videos of fathers coming home from war (there are plenty of videos of moms too, but today it's about the dads) get me every. Single. Time. These men are heroes, and serving their country, leaving behind family members, and often young children. Their homecomings are gut wrenching. Here are two of my favourites.

In this video, a father walks on the football field where his daughter is cheer-leading. She had no idea he was coming home.

In this video, a little boy's birthday party is crashed by Captain America, a.k.a. his real-hero daddy in disguise.
